The Centralia Cross Country team will be competing in the Marion Fast Start Invite on Thursday, August 29th. The start time for this event has been pushed back and will now be a 6:00 pm start for the girls' race and a 6:45 pm start time for the boys' race.

Centralia High School is seeking applications for a full-time maintenance position (full benefits included). Applicants must be able to work flexible hours. Applications are available in the main office at the high school and should be returned to Bryan Horst, Facilities Manager, at Centralia High School, 2100 E. Calumet, Centralia. The deadline for applications is September 6. Apply immediately as interviews may take place before the deadline.

Registration for Centralia High School students will begin Friday, August 9. Everyone must park in the back parking lot and enter through the assigned door. If your student owes a fine this must be paid by cash or check in the main office.
Registration dates and times are as follows:
Friday, August 9 seniors who have completed their online pre-registration will register from 9:00-11:15 or 12:30-3:00.
Monday, August 12 juniors and sophomores who have completed their online pre-registration will register from 9:00-11:15 or 12:30-3:00.
Tuesday, August 13 freshmen who have completed their online pre-registration will register from 9:00-11:15 or 12:30-3:00. Freshman must bring a completed dental exam, physical and updated shot record to in-person registration.
Chromebooks and assistance with the online pre-registration will be available during in-person registration for those that need assistance.
CHS will be hosting a dedication ceremony at Trout Arena on Saturday, August 17 for the stained glass renovation and installation project. The doors will open at 12:30pm. Please park in the back parking lot and enter through the ticket booth doors on the north side of the gym. There will be a ribbon cutting at 1:00 followed by a brief dedication ceremony. The public is welcomed.
Also that day the school building will be opened if any individuals would like to tour the school. The gates to Evers Field will also be opened for anyone that would like to see and/or walk on the new football field. The doors and gates will close at 3:00pm.
