
The Annies Softball game vs Carbondale scheduled for today (3/26) has been cancelled. No make up date has been set at this time.

The Annies soccer game at Carbondale tonight will now start at 6:00 pm. The Varsity game will be played first with JV to follow.

The track meet scheduled for today, Tuesday, March 26th, at Triad has been cancelled. It will not be made up.

The home JV/V baseball game vs Nashville, on Friday, March 29th, has been moved to a 1:00 pm start time.

The CHS Library has an Easter Egg Trivia activity in full swing and Mrs. Arning's 7th hour juniors participated in the fun after a long day of SAT testing. The students answered trivia questions about books or items in the library for a chance to earn Easter eggs. Each egg had a bookmark or candy prize in it. Student names were then placed in a drawing to win a book prize.











Centralia High School is seeking applications for a full-time paraprofessional (full benefits included) at the CHS Annex. Candidates must have ISBE Paraprofessional/Licensure Certification. Letters of application should be submitted to Mr. Travis Cameron, Annex Principal, at Centralia High School, 2100 E. Calumet, Centralia, IL 62801. Please apply immediately as interviews may begin prior to the deadline. The deadline for applications is April 12, 2024.

Mayor Bryan Kuder read a proclamation during lunch hour at Centralia High School today given by the City of Centralia recognizing three students in honor of Down Syndrome Awareness Week. The individuals pictured in the first picture are: front row: Keegan Williams and Jacob Draper (students); back row: Dr. Shipley, Mr. Brenneisen, Eliot Bergsieker (student), Mayor Kuder, and Mr. Goewey.
Mayor Kuder said, "As the Mayor of Centralia and an employee of the high school, I was honored to be able to present a Proclamation recognizing Centralia High School's activities during Down Syndrome Awareness Week. Eliot, Keegan and Jacob will light up a room when they walk in, they will make you laugh, they are a joy to be around and will always lift your spirits."
