The Accounting 1 class finished up their Monopoly unit recently. The students practiced journalizing transactions, proving cash, and calculating net worth (For those that were not bankrupt at the end!). Luke Mayer finished with the highest net worth in the class!

The Annies softball game scheduled for today (3/24/25) vs Wesclin has been cancelled. No make up date has been set at this time.

The Annies soccer match at Mt. Vernon tomorrow, Tuesday, March 25th, will now be a 5:30 pm start.

Centralia FFA Places 3rd at the Section 21 Dairy Judging Contest. Brylan Jones 2nd place individual and Alivia Shook 4th place individual.
The Section 21 Dairy Judging contest was held at the Greenville Fairgrounds on March 20th. Out of 11 schools, Centralia placed 3rd as a team. The team consisted of Brylan Jones, Eli Stevens, Julie Siegler, Alivia Shook, and Levi Huge. Out of 52 individuals Brylan Jones placed 2nd and Alivia Shook placed 4th. Members had to judge rings of aged cows based on their udders and confirmation, heifer calves based on their confirmation, and take a 25-question test over the dairy industry.

Jacob Draper, Adre Stafford, Hailey Harpool, Addisyn Becker, and Keegan Williams participated in the baseball game at Gaetti's on 3/21. Their team was called KWI G-men and they played against the KWI-Woody's. The rest of Mr. Organ's class were spectators cheering on their classmates!










Senator Jason Plummer hosted the spring session of his Youth Advisory Council on Tuesday. Juniors Cooper Dodson and Krimsen Thompson, along with Freshmen Addy Dukes and Cash Meyer, were invited to participate with students from every other high school in Illinois District 55 in a mock legislative procedure at the State Capitol Building in Springfield.
