The Introduction to Game Design class recently studied algorithms (A process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations, especially by a computer...just in case you didn't know what an algorithm was!). They wrote algorithms for folding paper airplanes, practiced the Insertion Sort and Bubble Sort with playing cards, and had a 21 Flags Tournament. Congratulations to Damian Wallis for having the farthest flying airplane and to Trey Sloat and Abby Moore for tying for 1st place in the 21 Flags Tournament.

The Freshman/Sophomore football team has added a game at Freeburg on Thursday, September 18th at 6:00 pm.

Centralia High School is seeking applications for a full-time paraprofessional (full benefits included) at the CHS Annex. Candidates must have ISBE Paraprofessional/Licensure Certification. Letters of application should be submitted to Mr. Travis Cameron, Annex Principal, at Centralia High School, 2100 E. Calumet, Centralia, IL 62801. Tickets for the 2025 Shrine Game, held at Salem High School – Jim Finks Field on Friday, August 29th, will be available for purchase at the CHS Athletic Office during the following times:
Wednesday, August 27: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Thursday, August 28: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Friday, August 29: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Ticket Prices (Cash Only):
Adults: $5
Students: $2
Tickets will also be sold at Salem High School – Jim Finks Field beginning at 5:30 PM on game day.
Please Note:
Pre-purchased ticket holders will be able to enter the stadium through a designated entrance, allowing them to bypass the ticket booth line.
