🎃 Hallowspirit Week at CHS! 🎃
-Our CHS freshmen orientation students are leading the charge with Hallowspirit Week to boost school spirit and celebrate the season! Students are decorating their 4th-hour doors with spook-tacular, team-spirited designs that tie in the Halloween theme. 🕸️
-Prizes will be awarded to the top three 4th-hour classes with the most creative and spirited doors!
-To wrap up the week, our freshmen have teamed up with the National Honor Society seniors for a special Costume Day this Friday — helping to scare off both the competition and cancer! 👻
-NHS will collect $1 from each costume wearer to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
-Stay tuned for photos of the final door decorations, and best of luck to the Annies at Volleyball Regionals, our Orphans at Football Playoffs, and Aurora Amason at Cross Country Sectionals! ❤️🖤

The Annies Volleyball team has been assigned to the IHSA 3A Regional in Mt Vernon. The Annies will open play on Tuesday, October 28th at 7:00 pm vs Carbondale. The championship will be held on Thursday, October 30th at 6:00 pm. Admission is 5 dollars. Go Annies !!

Superheroes don't always wear capes. Or even have "super" powers. Sometimes superheroes are everyday men & women that do extraordinary things that are super to us. That's a true hero!!!

Mrs. Beggs Interior Design students are proudly displaying their textile projects in the school shadow box, showcasing their applied knowledge of design elements like color and texture. Each piece demonstrates the class's understanding of design principles such as balance and harmony, with students creatively integrating their wall hangings to produce aesthetically cohesive displays.

"Be Who You Care To Be” for CHS Cares Week was well supported with future speech pathologists, teachers, business owners, a minister, and lots of medical professionals! Our future looks bright!

The Centralia Cross Country team has been assigned to the IHSA 2A Olney Regional. It will be held on Saturday, October 25th at Olney Central College. The girls race will start at 10:00 am with the boys starting at 10:45 am. Go Orphans and Annies!!
