We are running on the school improvement schedule today with classes being dismissed at 12pm.
School will not be in session on Monday, Sept 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will resume on Tuesday, Sept 8th on the regular dismissal schedule.
Athletes: Big Red Card pick up will be Wednesday, September 9th before school starting at 7:30am just inside the main doors.
A representative from Bradley University will be on campus next Wednesday, September 9th at 12:30 in the attendance office boardroom. This is for seniors only. Please see Mrs. Snyder in the guidance office if you would like to sign up. Deadline for sign up is Tuesday, September 8th.
Tutoring will be available after school starting Tuesday, September 8th. Tutoring is from 3:00pm until 4:15pm. An email was sent out with a calendar for the exact dates and room assignments.
If you need transportation home after tutoring, please email Dr. Shipley. Students do not have to stay the entire time. Students may also use it as a quiet place to work on their own or to use the school’s wi-fi to finish assignments if needed.
Food trucks are coming to CHS today! Taco Jo’s & Wintea Express will be selling food to students & staff beginning at 12pm in the CHS back parking lot. The other two trucks canceled due to the heat. You are responsible for the cost of your food. Tables & chairs will be set up. Grab your friends and enjoy your lunch!
