Today the cafeteria is serving boneless wings for lunch. On Monday the cafeteria is serving honey buns cheese for breakfast and corn dogs for lunch. 


Attention CHS students:  CHS is collecting any dance dresses, jewelry, flowers, shoes and men’s dress clothes and shoes to donate to the attendees of the “Dream Come True Prom”. The Dream Come True Prom is a sponsored event to give disabled members of the Centralia and surrounding area the prom of their dreams.  If you would like to donate to this cause, please bring your items to the stage next week, April 7-11th to make a dream come true for an individual.  If you have any questions, please email or talk to Nora McKinzie.


Hey CHS! Have you caught spring fever? So has the CHS student council! Next week, we will have Spring Fever Relief week. To start off the week, Monday will be spring training day. Represent your favorite baseball team by wearing your jerseys, t-shirts, and baseball caps! The only hats that will be allowed will be hats with a baseball team or CHS logo! 


Seniors, the Central City Lioness Scholarship is due today by 3:00 in the Guidance Office and the North American Lighting Scholarship is due today online. 


Attention Junior and Seniors: If you would like to find out more about your ability in various vocational areas, you may choose to take the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery).  The ASVAB will be given on our campus on Tuesday, April 8th at 8:10a.m. There is no charge to take the test.  This test is designed to test your ability in language arts, math, clerical, mechanical, and electronics.  Taking this test in no way obligates you to the military. However, if you are interested in joining the military, we encourage you to take the test.  If you are interested, please sign up with Mrs. Snyder in the Guidance Office as soon as possible. We can accommodate no more than 30 students. The deadline to sign up for the test is this Monday.

Attention Graduates:  Jostens will be here during lunches on April 09 to pass out graduation caps and gowns.  All balances must be paid in full to Jostens in order for them to release your cap and gown. This is the only day they will be here.   CHS will not accept money.  


3rd Quarter Honor and High Honor Roll is posted on the bulletin board outside the main office.  Please check the list by Friday and see Mrs. Kuder in the main office if you have any questions. 


Attention Freshmen & Sophomores:  Testing rooms have been posted in the cafeteria for the Pre ACT.  The PreACT is a state test given to all 9th and 10th graders.  You will take it here on campus Friday, April 11th.  It will be administered on your chromebook, so make sure it is fully charged for test day. 


Petitions to be on Student Council for the 2025-2026 school year will be available outside rooms 2053 and 2056.  You can pick them up starting Monday, April 7-Wednesday, April 9.  Petitions are due back on Thursday, April 10 by 2:50pm.
