Today the cafeteria is serving lasagna rolls for lunch. Tomorrow they will serve French toast sticks for breakfast and grilled chicken wraps for lunch.
Students who have 4th hour PE will be in the upstairs boardroom today. Students who have 5th, 6th, & 7th hour PE class, you will be in the cafeteria today.
Homecoming elections are today. Make sure to check your CHS email for your class ballot and to vote for King and Queen. You need to vote by 12:20 today! If you did not receive an email from Mrs. Miller please let her know asap!
CHS Spirit Club will have a meeting on Friday in Mrs. Lockwood's room @ 7:40am. If you need a pass please stop by ahead of time.
For any girls interested in playing softball this Spring, please email Ms. Witges or stop by room 2038 to be added to the team's Google Classroom.
Seniors who are considering attending Kaskaskia College after graduation are invited to attend the KC Blue & White Senior Invite on September 22nd. Permission slips can be picked up in the Guidance Office and must be returned by September 11th in order to attend. The details have just been posted in the Class of 2027 Google Classroom.
CHS girls interested in playing powderpuff can pick up a waiver outside Mrs. Miller's room 2053. Waivers and t-shirt money are due back on September 11th. The Powderpuff games will be played on September 27th at 2pm.
Homecoming guest forms are available outside of room 2053. Students wanting to be a guest from another school or a CHS graduate must complete the form before buying tickets on September 23rd-25th. Please read the form carefully and ask questions.
Food trucks are coming to CHS! On our noon dismissal day this Friday, Sept 5th, Taco Jo’s, The Thirsty Heifer, & Wintea Express will be selling food to students & staff beginning at 12pm in the CHS back parking lot. C’s Sweet Specialty Cupcakes canceled/will not be attending. You are responsible for the cost of your food. Tables & chairs will be set up. Grab your friends and enjoy your lunch!
Hey CHS! Student Council is selling homecoming shirts through September 14! This year, the proceeds will benefit the CHS Polar Plunge team in support of the Region K Special Olympics! Order forms can be picked up outside Mrs. Miller’s room 2053 or the link to order is available on the CHS website.
