Today the cafeteria is serving grilled chicken wraps for lunch. Tomorrow they will serve cereal/poptarts for breakfast and no lunch will be served due to the noon dismissal.
We will run on the school improvement schedule tomorrow, Sept 4th with classes being dismissed at 12pm. School will not be in session on Monday, Sept 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will resume on Tuesday, Sept 8th on the regular dismissal schedule.
There is a run off for homecoming attendant for the freshmen and juniors. Freshmen and juniors need to check their email and vote by the end of 4th hour today.
Election results will be announced tomorrow morning during announcements.
PE classes 4th-7th hours today will be changed again.
If you have 4th hour PE class with Mr. Skillette, you will be in the upstairs boardroom today.
If you have 4th hour PE class with Mrs. Heltsley, you will be in the library.
If you have 4th hour fitness PE with Mrs. Tomlianovich, you will still go to the weightroom like normal.
All 5th, 6th, & 7th hour PE classes will be in the cafeteria. Weightlifting will still be in the weightroom like normal.
A representative from Bradley University will be on campus next Wednesday, September 9th at 12:30 in the attendance office boardroom. This is for seniors only. Please see Mrs. Snyder in the guidance office if you would like to sign up. Deadline for sign up is Tuesday, September 8th.
Tutoring will be available after school starting Tuesday, September 8. Tutoring is from 3:00pm until 4:15pm. An email was sent out with a calendar for the exact dates and room assignments.
If you need transportation home after tutoring, we need to know the day before.
CHS Spirit Club will have a meeting on Friday in Mrs. Lockwood's room @ 7:40am. If you need a pass please stop by ahead of time.
For any girls interested in playing softball this Spring, please email Ms. Witges or stop by room 2038 to be added to the team's Google Classroom.
Food trucks are coming to CHS tomorrow, Sept 5th! Taco Jo’s, The Thirsty Heifer, Wintea Express, & C’s Sweet Specialty Cupcakes will be selling food to students & staff beginning at 12pm in the CHS back parking lot. You are responsible for the cost of your food. Tables & chairs will be set up. Grab your friends and enjoy your lunch!
