Today the cafeteria is serving chicken nuggets for lunch. Tomorrow they will serve donuts for breakfast and no lunch will be served due to the noon dismissal.


We will run on the school improvement schedule tomorrow May 8th with classes being dismissed at noon.


There will be an FFA Meeting on Monday after school in Mrs. English's room.


Any girls interested in playing golf next fall need to stop by and see Coach Jack in the Driver Ed room sometime this week to pick up the summer schedule.


Any boys interested in playing soccer next fall need to stop by and see Coach Waithe in room 1035 sometime this week to pick up the summer schedule.


The 2026 Senior Picnic will be held at the Lyons Park Pavillion in Central City on Friday, May 15th following graduation practice. Lunch will be provided.
Seniors wanting to participate in the Senior Picnic Olympic Games at the Senior Picnic need to sign up with Mrs. Griffin or Mrs. Toennies by Tuesday, May 12th. No athletic ability is needed to play the games! Don't miss out on the fun!


Reminder Seniors: Exam exemption cards are due in the Attendance Office by tomorrow Friday, May 8th.


Attention all graduates:  All fines, fees and cafeteria balances MUST be taken care of by Thursday, May 14th by 3:00pm. Please make sure that you turn in all books to the appropriate teacher, clean out your locker by the end of the day on your last attendance day and properly dispose of trash. Take home your lock on your last attendance day. Any graduate that has an outstanding fine or fee will be pulled from the graduation line and will not take part in the graduation ceremony. Upon your last attendance day, you are no longer allowed on campus until the morning of graduation practice. If you have any questions, please check in the Main Office.


Tuesday, May 12th, is the Academic Pep Assembly beginning at 9:30am. A list of students receiving an award has been posted on the cafeteria wall. If your ID# appears on that list, then you will be receiving an award. Invitations have already been sent out to your parents and guardians. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Stoecklin in the Main Office.


Food trucks are coming to CHS this Friday, May 8th! The Potato Plug, Big Daddy’s Floating Rib, Taco Joe’s, & AJ’s Ice Cream will be in the back parking lot from 11am-1pm.


The results are in for the Foods 2 Taco Showdown, and we have officially crowned our champions. After a fierce battle in the kitchen, the prestigious Golden Spatula has found a home.
Taking the top spot with their Spicy Mango Chicken Taco is the team from Sweetheat Taco Treat!
A huge congratulations to our winning chefs: Lexi Atchison, Rylee Dearing, Marquis Myers, KaiVeric Bratton, and Sabrena Johnson.
Amazing job, everyone! If you see these culinary masters in the halls, be sure to congratulate them on their victory.
