Earned PhD in Educational Leadership and Higher Education at Stanford

ACSA Academy Superintendent’s Certification

Contributed 44 years to the field of education as an educator skilled in driving student achievement and improving student outcomes

Served as a teacher and principal in the Centralia City Schools

Served as Deputy Superintendent in Ravenswood City School District in East Palo Alto, CA

Senior Vice President and Regional Operations Officer for EdisonLearning

Awarded Outstanding Working Woman by the Illinois Federation of Business and Professional Women

Awarded Community Champion by Silicon Valley

Awarded Woman of the Year by Tracy Women’s Club and Centralia BPW

Given the President’s Service Award by the National Alliance of Black School Educators

Received the MLK Image Award from the Tracy African American Association

Dravo Heavy Construction Division - Seattle, WA

Marketing Management - Dravo Coal Company

Contributed to market study relevant to expansion of public works, construction of dams, coal

mine operations, and projects such as the Trans-Alaska Pipeline

Lead corporate interests in coal, uranium, and aggregates In Russia

Client Consultant for mineral rights, iron ore, and copper

Utilized the solvent extraction - electro winning process in Balkhash, Kazakhstan

Lead minerals marketing work study in cooperation with the World Bank

Extensive work with the Maasai Tribe in Tanzania Education, health, jobs training
